Here we discuss several projects made using Wolfram technologies that were winners at “hackathons”– events where teams compete to invent or create something new in very short windows of time– and show how the breadth of the Wolfram programming language enables you to realize your wildest imaginings with only a few lines of code. In particular, we highlight how these projects replace traditional design with algorithms that put creative control in the hands of users. Topics include: Fourier series, ImageIdentify, 3D printing, and art.
