Statistical methods to classify products as acceptable or not have been developed to insure an outgoing quality level under non-desctructive testing. Control procedures are ...

In this paper, we introduce the Banzhaf power indices for simple games on convex geometries. We define the concept of swing for these structures, obtaining convex swings. The ...

Using Mathematica 3.0, the Schrödinger equation for bound states is solved. The method of solution is based on a numerical integration procedure together with convexity ...

The object-oriented programming style is becoming increasingly popular. It promises code reuse and easier maintenance of larger projects than is possible with traditional ...

We propose a method for extracting symmetry invariant representations from 2D patterns. The considered symmetry operators are 2D translations and rotations. The extracted ...

A simple method of optimally reducing the order of systems with time delays is proposed. The performance indices used for optimization are the integral of the weighted ...

Using computer-algebraic methods we derive compact analytical expressions for the virtual electroweak radiative corrections to polarized Compton scattering. Moreover the ...

A second order chemical reaction is occuring in a tubular reactor with axial dispersion. The governing equation can be found in the excellent book by W. F. Ramirez, ...

The notebooks compute the bifurcation diagrams for the cubic map and a realistic population dynamics model. The value of parameter r, when the cycle of period three appears, ...

Students will be able to describe the steps needed to create a Relative Frequency Plot and create a Relative Frequency Plot from data provided. This notebook covers topics ...
