This package allows you to compute a dynamical system from given data. The algorithm was published by A. C. Antoulas in IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control (Dec. 93) and is based on the behavioral framework (introduced by J. C. Willems back in 1979). It solves the following problem: Given polynomial-time exponential time series w(t) = p(t) exp(lam t) find a polynomial matrix theta, such that theta(d/dt) w(t) = 0 (exactly!) and theta has minimal complexity.
We welcome any comments. Please send an Email (rickli@aut.ee.ethz.ch) with your rating and a short description of what you used this algorithm for. Thanks
