Solving Linear Quaternion Systems Modulo a Prime

Chris Niemann
Organization: Southwestern Illinois College
Department: Mathematics
Revision date

Using any prime number desired, a general system of linear equations may be solved. The Eight-Step method is once again used to find all inverses. If a given system has no solution, a message to that effect is printed. Otherwise, the system has a solution and the standard equations can be utilized to find all solutions.
