Solution of Difference and Fredholm Equations

We use two methods: (1) ZTransform and its inverse (2) the command RSolve to solve a second order linear difference equation and a system of coupled first order linear difference equation. Both methods give the same results. We also show how one can solve the Fredholm Equation. These examples are from the problem sections in the book by W. G. Kelley and A. C. Peterson, Difference Equations: An introduction with applications, 2sd edition, 2001, Academic Press.
