Description

MovieDigitizer is a MathLink program that runs on the Macintosh. It reads QuickTime movie files, and communicates the graphical information to Mathematica. From within Mathematica, mouse click positions on the movie are accessible as well as the RGB values of selected movie areas. Movie frame control is also available from Mathematica. These functions are used in a program for movie image processing, automatic digitizing, and tracing. Reprinted from the 1994 Mathematica Developers Conference, Champaign, Illinois.
