We use the first four moments of a crystal size distribution data to compute nucleation and growth rates as well as number, size, area and mass of crystals. Spherical crystal assumption is made for the crystals area and mass computation. This assumption can be relaxed by using appropriate area and volume shape factors. Crystal size distribution data are obtained from Harrison at al., Bioseparations Science and Engineering, p. 287, OUP, 2003 and N. S. Tavare, Industrial Crystallization, p. 180, Plenum Press, 1995.
