Originally written for the purpose of solving a system of differential equations arising from a model of the budding yeast cell cycle, RestartingNDSolve automates the process of restarting NDSolve when a given condition on the solution is satisfied. It is provided here in package form with Help Browser documentation.

RestartingNDSolve is described in the article titled "RestartingNDSolve" in Mathematica in Education and Research, vol. 10, no. 1.

(Note: This work was done prior to the release of Mathematica 5.1, in which the functionality provided by RestartingNDSolve can be achieved differently by using the EventLocator controller method of NDSolve.)

The unzipped download will be a folder named RNDS. To install the package, place the RNDS folder in Addons/Applications and select Rebuild Help Index from Mathematica's Help menu.
