The slides and the Mathematica notebooks of the workshop given at the 18th International Conference on Chemical Education in Istanbul in August 2004 ( http://www.18icce.org/ ) are provided. The title of the workshop was Physical Chemistry Using Mathematica. During this workshop, the attendants solved several physical chemistry problems using Mathematica. The problems solved include vapor liquid equilibrium (VLE) calculations for non ideal binary mixtures, calculation of binary interaction parameters using experimental VLE data, determination of reaction rates using the Langmuir-Hinshelwood and the Eley-Rideal mechanisms as well as various chemical reaction engineering problems involving complex reaction.
