I have created several activities that I use with my high school students in Algebra I, Calculus, and Linear Algebra Classes. I have also developed additional assignments for other teachers in my department for graphing and exploring functions in Algebra II and Pre-Calculus classes. Topics Include: Introduction to Mathematica, Graphing in 2D and 3D, Trigonometry, Polar, Polygons, Systems of Equations, Conic Sections, Exponential vs. Factorial Functions, Infinite Series, Curves and Surfaces in 3D, Matrices, Determinants, Vector Transformations. Some of the lessons are notebooks created in Mathematica. Other activities are HTML or PDF worksheets ready for students to use in a computer lab or individually. Teachers can also use these lessons to better their understanding of Mathematica and its applications in high school classes.
