The notebook simplex.ma contains a simplex command which produces a simplex tableau for a linear programming problem. Examples of its use to solve a standard maximization problem, find multiple optimal feasible solutions, solve linear programming problems by the Big M method, and do a sensitivity analysis are included. The simplex command does not currently have error checking capabilities and assumes that the matrix and vector arguments are correct.
This notebook may be useful to those using the simplex method in their work and educators and students learning the simplex method to solve linear programming problems.
