SimLOQC is a Mathematica package designed to simulate a linear optical quantum computer as originally proposed by Knill, Laflamme, and Milburn in the journal Nature vol. 409, #46, and in the article found at http://arxiv.org/abs/quant-ph/0006088 . SimLOQC allows one to model the state of any number of photons propagating through any number of optical modes and the ways that beam splitters transform this state. This simulation also includes tools for modeling the measurement of the number of photons propagating through the modes and noise and inefficiency in the photon detectors. Some preliminary analysis of linear optical quantum computers accomplished using this package can be found at http://arxiv.org/abs/quant-ph/0201047 .
