This Microsoft Word 6 document template contains a macro called MathEvaluate that demonstrates how to call the Mathematica kernel from Microsoft Word for Windows. It allows you to enter input and receive output directly in a Word document. This simple macro is intended mainly as an example of using MathLink from WordBasic, and it will also be useful to anyone interested in using Visual Basic or Visual Basic for Applications. This macro appears in the Spring '95 issue of MathUser, and is provided here with more discussion.
