A symbolic math module that provides Xmath users with the symbolic and high-precision numeric capabilities of Mathematica from within Xmath. It uses the Mathlink communication standard supplied with Mathematica and the LiNked eXternal code (LNX) facility of Xmath. Both strings and matrices can be passed between the two packages. Users can freely mix Xmath & Mathematica code in Xmath's programming language, MathScript. Mathematica script files can also be invoked from Xmath. With the integration of Xmath with the MATRIXx product family, MATRIXx users can now make use of Mathematica for symbolic math manipulations.
