This presentation will show case the finite element method interface used within NDSolve and related functions. The fundamental stages of PDE solving will be introduced and explained. The attendee will be left with an understanding of how the Finite Element Method is implemented within NDSolve and be put in a position to utilize the Finite Element framework to write custom solvers.
