The cloud offers compelling practical advantages to data scientists, especially when disseminating results and working with shared data. Buy-in to reporting systems within an organization tends to increase when findings are accessible with off-the-shelf browser technology. This talk will demonstrate complete data science workflows in the Wolfram Cloud and the Wolfram Language, showing 1) data import and preparation, 2) analysis and visualization, and 3) publication and delivery of results. We will discuss details of working with SQL databases, file-based data, and APIs published by services such as Twitter and Instagram. Basic familiarity with the Wolfram Language and data science concepts are assumed.
