Oscilloscopic measurements provide us with precise information about pulsed laser beam properties. Large amount of experimental data can be processed and analyzed by Mathematics software to compute desired beam characteristics such as pulse repetition frequency, pulse shape, its length or rise time. Getting knowledge of these parameters is essential for laser system calibration check as well as for individual pulse visualization that leads to better understanding of laser pulses generation. Besides beam properties evaluation, Mathematics can also help us with the processing of a large quantity of data acquired during spectroscopic monitoring of the laser welding process that is considered as a modern approach to the non-destructive welding quality control.
