This presentation starts with a brief derivation of the 5-parameter model for asbestos-associated mesothelioma.The multi-variate model's features are illustrated by interactive graphics using the Manipulate functionality. Finally, the Manipulate command is used to show how the effects of parameter uncertainties are easily and interactively displayed in Mathematica version 9.0.1.0. The goal of the presentation is to introduce the underlying concepts for mathematical modeling of risk from environmental carcinogens and to show how Mathematica can enhance the development of intuition about such models.
