Abstract Numerical experiments, symbolic computation and data processing are indispensable tools in research and education nowadays. The purchase and maintenance of corresponding software and hardware, and especially investment in experts, is very expensive and not every educational or research institution (in the former eastern Europe) can afford them. As an alternative, we offer high-performance computing clusters with 128 64-bit processors and gridMathematica accessible through websites. These interactive websites are powered by webMathematica and give access to several computational applications that were programmed under gridMathematica. Our project provides an opportunity to young talented undergraduate, graduate, and Ph.D. students to program algorithms of broader interest and to make them accessible to users from other universities and academies. In this talk we will describe our recent progress and invite your suggestions on what applications you would like to find on our websites. The authors would like to thank Jindřich Kňourek, the head of Westbohemian Supercomputing Centre, for stimulating discussions, advice, and continuous support.
