Version 2.0 is a major new release of the Digital Image Processing application package. The new version features over 60 new symbols (that is, functions and options) that extend the package in many areas by adding important new capabilities, most significantly in the image segmentation, image restoration, and spectral analysis areas. Also, a substantial number (over 40) of existing functions have been enhanced, both in speed and features, while retaining ease-of-use and maintaining compatibility with the latest versions of Mathematica.
