The Mathematica Gulf Conference was the first of its kind held in the Arabian Peninsula. It was a multidisciplinary conference that covered using Mathematica both in education at the undergraduate and the graduate level and in research.
The Mathematica Gulf Conference was held at the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, College of Science, Sultan Qaboos University, Muscat, Oman.
The one-day conference was held on the 26th January 2004 and an optional two-day post-conference training course was offered to conference attendees.
