Description

Mathematica can be a powerful tool for the manipulation of information. To process information, however, it must first be made accessible to the kernel, or read into Mathematica. Mathematica provides many tools to read in data, and put it into a useful form. This document explores some of these techniques, particularly those associated with reading files. Reprint from the Mathematica Conference, June 1992, Boston. 11 pages.
