The NetMath program is a highly successful distance-learning program that has been offered through the University of Illinois for the past five years. Most student work is done in the form of a Mathematica notebook and submitted over the internet. The NetMath model for distance learning is a blend of the use of the interactive nature of the Mathematica software and the internet. NetMath includes courses taught using Calculus&Mathematica as well as interactive Mathematica training modules for teachers. To be demonstrated and discussed will be the techniques of course delivery via the internet, how Mathematica is used to make the courses interactive, course assignments, the mentoring program, and how students interact.
