The main goal of this article is to present the educational software F-Tool, recently awarded the Timberlake prize 1 . The F-Tools are visual, dynamic, and interactive teaching tools that allow to explore in an innovative fashion some of the main concepts within precalculus and differential calculus at the secondary and university levels. The F-Tools will soon be made available to the general public in the CDF 2 format
