Description

DYNAMICA, a Mathematica package, which can be used to derive and numerically solve the Lagrangian and Hamiltonian equations of motion for classical mechanical systems subject to holonomic constraints is presented. The use of the package will be demonstrated by an application to the simple pendulum.
