Mary is the proud owner of a newly-opened bakery at a very elegant side of the city. She remembers how her success came from the day on which she decided to specialize in the making of square cakes. While the other bakeries sold round cakes, Mary took a chance and invested all her efforts in the making of square cakes: chocolate, vanilla, coconut; it didn’t matter which flavor as long as they were square. And, of course, the icing had to be special too. All decorations consist in straight lines across the cake from side to side, never stopping in the middle. So, time passed and the Euclidean Bakery grew, until one day Mary decided to issue a catalog so that the clients would be able to order traditional or unconventional decorations from the bakery’s webpage. With the help of Mathematica, let us explore how we can go about creating such a catalog.
