"What good are Notebooks?"--Talking Heads. This new column explores this and other questions of interest to educators. In this issue, Horacio Porta and Jerry Uhl, two of the creators of the very successful Calclulus&Mathematica course, and Francis Sullivan, one of the Journal's editorial advisors, pose the question "What makes a good Notebook?" Readers are encouraged to submit their ideas on this subject.
