Description

A new instructional paradigm, using a specially designed instructional toolset derived from the Mathematica programming language, is described. The toolset helps motivate classical differential equation solutions for problems involving dynamics, by providing tangible conceptual crossovers between the subject of physics and more advanced subjects in engineering, such as control theory. The toolset is intended to help educators develop a greater depth of compelling, real world problems in textbooks, courseware, and other instructional materials used in undergraduate physics and engineering curricula.
