Description

Two Mathematica rules, converting double and triple summation series to a single one, are developed. The rules allow for the elimination of redundant equations in the truncated ordinary differential equations system that appears in connection with the application of the generalized integral transform technique (GITT), in the hybrid solution of linear and non-linear heat and fluid flow problems. The rules permit also, in some 2D and 3D heat conduction eigenseries exact solutions, to use only those terms necessary to obtain the user prescribed accuracy.
