The Brigham Young University math department has had an unusual opportunity to compare three calculus programs. Thanks to NSF grants, we have been able to teach traditional calculus [2], Harvard Consortium Calculus (CCH) [3], and Calculus Using Mathematica (CUM) [4] in our two-semester calculus program during 1991-92 through 1995-96 school years. After a few general comments, this paper compares results related to student performance in these three calculus programs.
