Dependability analysis with reliability block diagrams

This package evaluates dependability models based on reliability block diagrams. Inherent in these models is the assumption of independence between all system elements. An element is characterised by its availability (probability of working) and mean up time (1/failure intensity). An algebraic notation is used to described the structure of the of series-parallel systems as well as systems that have "bridge elements". Asymptotic results for the (un)availability, MTBF, MUT and MDT for the resulting system may obtained.

An accompanying notebook demonstrates the use of the package.
