Description

The Zebra Puzzle is a logical puzzle attributed to Einstein involving five men, all with different nationalities, jobs, pets, favorite drinks and living in houses of different colors and numbers. Fourteen clues are provided linking these variables. The object of the puzzle is to find out who owns the zebra. In this work the solving of the puzzle is obtained through the use of pattern manipulation via the commands DeleteCases and Cases mainly. To compare methodologies, a similar easier problem is tackled along with a more involved one.
