Description

Vapor liquid equilibrium data for the two binary systems, acetic acid - water and formic acid - water, are computed. Gas phase dimerizations of the two carboxylic acids are taken into account. The formic acid – water mixture presents a maximum boiling azeotrope. Computations done in the present notebook are compared to experimental data.
