Description

The forced duffing oscillator exhibits various nonlinear dynamics behaviors ranging from limit cycle to chaos. When the periodic force driving the system is large, we get chaotic behavior and a strange attractor. The system’s behavior is sensitive to the initial condition. The Poincare section is a complicated curve, namely a fractal.
