The notebook solves Example 7.5 page 285 presented in the excellent book by Henley and Seader, Equilibrium-Stage Separation Operations in Chemical Engineering, Wiley, 1981. The notebook shows how to perform easily adiabatic flash calculations using the Peng Robinson Equation of State. This approach, based on the built-in Mathematica function FindRoot, is easier than the iterative technique of Henley and Seader.
