H-inf Control Design on Frequency Domain

Description

In this case study we demonstrate, how to employ the Mathematica CSPS application together with the OPTDesign package developed by Helton and Merino (1998) to design a robust level controller for a nonlinear plant. First, CSPS is used to linearize plant model and transform it into frequency domain.Then OPTDesign is applied to design optimal H-inf controller under different constrains.In the last step, CSPS is employed again to transform the controller model back to state space and to insert the controller model into the nonlinear plant model in order to carry out a closed loop simulation.
