SerialIO is a Mathematica AddOn that enables users to read data from and write data to serial port devices. Currently this package works on Mac OS X, Windows, and Linux. Support for other platforms is possible in the future.
*Note:* This update includes bug fixes, improved compatibility with Mathematica 6 & 7, support for new $SystemIDs, and support for Linux.
