Unsteady-State Diffusion and Reaction in a Semi-infinite Medium

The present notebook computes and plots the concentration profile for two different cases. The first case is when penetration depth is limited by diffusion. In the second case, penetration depth is limited by reaction. We also compare our results with the analytical solution derived by P. V. Danckwerts, Trans. Faraday Soc., 46, 300 (1950). We conclude that both results are in agreement.
