Description

These are Mathematica Notebooks to accompany my textbook, Microeconomic
Analysis, W. W. Norton and Company, Third Edition, 1992,
ISBN: 0-393-95735-7.  The organization of the Notebooks is the same
as the organization of the chapters in the book.  Some chapters are
reasonably fully developed; others have very minimal material.

Equipment

I developed these Notebooks using Mathematica 2.0 running on a NeXT
computer.  They should run on any computer that supports Mathematica
Notebooks.  Most of the commands will work with Mathematica 1.2.

Version

These Notebooks are very preliminary.  I hope eventually to distribute
them through W. W. Norton for use by students who purchase the
textbook.  One thing that I definitely intend to add are exercises.
Right now I am looking some feedback; please send me e-mail with
comments or suggestions.

Distribution

These Notebooks are Copyright (c) Hal R. Varian, 1992.  You may
redistribute these Notebooks to other parties.  However, it would
be good to suggest to them that they get the latest release from
MathSource rather than copy a potentially out of date release.
