Description

Phase Plot DiffEqs is a collection of fast, robust, and thoroughly tested packages for differential equations. The primary package in DiffEqs is DEGraphics, which provides the following functions: DEPlot, PhasePlot, NDPlot, PlotImplicit, TimeStatePlot, ViewProjections, and PoincareTimeSection. The most significant of these is PhasePlot, with which one can easily create beautiful phase portraits with a single command. The other three packages in the set are DETools, MatrixTools, and FourierTools. Complete documentation is included and accessible through the Help Browser after proper installation. The packages in DiffEqs are used in (though independent of) "A Mathematica Companion for Differential Equations," Prentice Hall, 2002, and are supported by http://www.math.armstrong.edu/faculty/hollis/mmade/.

To install DiffEqs, simply place the DiffEqs folder in the AddOns:Applications directory. Then select Rebuild Help Index from the Help menu. DiffEqs will then appear in the Help Browser under Add-ons.
