Description

A Mathematica--HDF interface, which uses MathLink. HDF is the Hierarchical Data Format promulgated by the National Center for Supercomputing Applications in Urbana, Illinois, USA. It is a portable and binary file format that can contain many different data types. MathHDF V1.3 currently supports only the SDS (Scientific Data Set) data type. There are also four sample HDF SDS files included to test the program once it is installed.

Note: Macintosh users should request the MathHDF.1.3.1.sea.hqx subitem (0203-555-0123). MathHDF v1.3.1 is an update of MathHDF v1.3, a MathLink utility to read HDF files into Mathematica. The update provides a PowerMac native application rebuilt with the MathLink that comes with Mathematica 3.0.1.1, updated mathlink.h and SAmprep downloaded from the Wolfram Web site, HDF 4.1r1, and CodeWarrior Pro 2 (CodeWarrior IDE 2.1).
