![](/common/images/spacer.gif) In the present notebook three methods are used to solve a heat conduction problem. This problem is given in M. N. Özisik, Heat Conduction, Wiley, New York, 1980. We use NDSolve, short times solution based on analytical inversion of a Laplace transform and finally a numerical solution based on the Fourier series approximation method of Laplace transform inversion. All results are plotted on the same graph and exhibit perfect agreement.
