The CustomTicks package provides extensive customization of tick mark placement and formatting, for preparation of publication-quality figures. Linear, logarithmic, and general nonlinear axes are supported.
Some specialized tick mark manipulation functions are also provided. The CustomTicks package was developed as part of the LevelScheme scientific figure preparation system (http://wnsl.physics.yale.edu/levelscheme).
