The CustomTicks package provides extensive customization of tick mark placement and formatting, for preparation of publication-quality figures. Linear, logarithmic, and general nonlinear axes are supported.
Some specialized tick mark manipulation functions are also provided.CustomTicks is part of the SciDraw scientific figure preparation system (http://scidraw.nd.edu).
