Description

From basic calculations and problem generators to interactive three-dimensional graphics, Mathematica is a tremendous tool for teaching and learning mathematics. I have been using Mathematica in various ways with my students for over a decade. In this talk I will present examples of different strategies for how Mathematica can be incorporated into a classroom setting along with experiences showing students and other teachers how to use Mathematica. Also, I will share Mathematica notebooks created by my high school and middle school students that illustrate their interests in math, science, art, music, and more! Learn about our contributions to expanding the use of Mathematica through our web site: www.MathematiClub.com.
