Description

Abstract

The bond graph allows modeling in any engineering domain with the same graph formalism and is a reliable root for technical modeling. This toolbox is probably the first taking advantage of Mathematica 6 new interactive features and typesets. This paper will show how these new Mathematica features have enabled the creation of a tool for everybody, from students to engineers. Students can play with bond graphs by probing or tuning their models interactively and learn faster about modeling, design, and systems. Engineers can analyze and design systems based on powerful symbolic computations. Users can store and maintain their model knowledge in notebooks, creating high value-added models and related documentation in short one-page models that can be exchange or published with the best meaningful and quality level.
