Description

gridMathematica enables the distribution of Mathematica tasks across a grid or cluster of systems. Setting up cluster systems can be tedious and challenging, particularly when experienced system administrators are not readily available. The Apple Workgroup Cluster simplifies the process of acquiring and deploying a computational cluster for Mac OS X, Windows, and Linux users.

In this session, attendees will get a quick overview of what the Apple Workgroup Cluster is, demonstrating how Mathematica code runs incredibly fast on the G5 processor, and how users of Mathematica on Mac OS X, Windows, and Linux-based systems will benefit equally from the use of an Apple Workgroup Cluster in their computational environments. Live demonstrations of a cluster will be included in the session.
