An effective use of matrices and linear algebra is a key part of many types of computation. This talk will show the different ways that Mathematica can work with matrices and linear algebra, with an emphasis on how to get good performance that scales well to large problems. It will cover both algorithmic issues as well as data representation and programming issues.
