This talk focuses on how typesetting works in Mathematica from a user perspective and how to extend it. Boxes which underpin how typesetting in Mathematica functions will be covered. I will further outline various details of how typesetting is accomplished at an implementation level. A selection of some of the newer boxes in the upcoming version of Mathematica will also be discussed. These will include some of the graphics boxes and dynamical boxes. Changes to the Notations package, along with a new specific box useful in notation handling will be demonstrated.
