The Materials Sciences Corporation is developing a series of Mathematica packages designed to perform solid mechanics calculations for structural composites. The packages start with constituent properties, and progressively add levels of modeling up to structural element calculations. This paper focuses on one aspect of this system; the prediction of homogenized properties for textile reinforced composites.
